CHICAGO BOUND

Okay folks, so I am off to Chicago to set some fucking fires and show them what it means to party with a Detroiter. I don't know what the agenda is other than for Saturday night:

ChicagoPhysicians.org presents an evening with acclaimed author and Illinois homeboy Will Leitch. Meet and drink with the creator of Life As a Loser, the hilarious new book from Arriviste Press, as he hits Chicago in his quasi-world tour. Leitch will read several excerpts from the book, answer questions, and then turn the evening over to DJ Arab Nite while he shotguns beers with his fans at the open bar.

When: Saturday 3/6/04; 8:30-11:30 p.m.
Where: The Beaumont, 2020 N. Halstead in Lincoln Park
What: Book reading, open bar, and kick-ass alternative dance DJ

I'm immediately skeptical of the DJ by super default, but hopefully I will be attending with the almightyZulkey and all will be swell. I am also looking forward to the open bar.

There may/may not be an update. So until then....see you guys on Monday.
