The folks who run this blog will be taking a short leave of absence until post holidays, when a state of normality will once again ensue. Expect your author to be well rested, sane, re-enthused and ready to go for another 300 days of blogdom goodness.

I'd like to thank you, each and every one of you, for making 2004 one of the best years of my life. Yes, we didn't win an election. Yes, things could have been alot better from nearly every angle. But for now, things aren't all that bad.
There's still alot of good in the world, and there's thousands of things to smile about.

It has been an honor writing for you, albeit on a severely inconsistent basis, almost daily. Special thanks to all those who send in links, guest write, do design work, send both positive and negative feedback, and all those who just let me know they're out there. The internet is a vast and distant place sometimes. Thanks for sharing in my little piece of it and making it that much warmer.

May you all have a safe, enjoyable holiday season surrounded by your loved ones.

See you in 2005. I can't wait to see what happens next...
