LISTS

Good morning. This morning's entry will be brief.

First off, The insane Matt Tobey gets a meta-Monte Cristo for putting together the top 500 songs of all time, courtesy of friends, co-workers and associates. This is a list compiled by REAL people, not some rock critics who sit in their cubicles behind their computer monitors all day long, listening to music or writing about movies.

...

Anyways, here's my contribution. Here's the entire list. While I can't say I agree with the placement of some songs (Why is Marvin Gaye so low on the list with What's Going On??), the songs actually chosen are fantastic...and should be a blueprint to anyone who wants to hear good music, regardless of genre.

Also, congrats are highly in order to 1115 and Whatevs, both up for awards for best blog in the universe of all time 2005 by someone who is qualified to rate these things. Both guys deserve to win, and they fucking well better...because I have money riding on them.

Oh, and I'm saying this now for the record: Fluxblog sucks. Go to Matthew Tobey's mp3 blog instead. You'll feel better about yourself in the morning.
